The Oceanarium
Constructed in 1979, the Oceanarium provides guests of the Pacific Beach Hotel with a fascinating view of a unique microcosm of Indo-Pacific ocean life. Stretching three entire stories high and viewable from any of the three hotel restaurants, the 280,000-gallon aquarium is the largest of its type located in a single hotel. It is home to nearly 400 fish from more than 70 species.

On the roof top on the 8th floor of the Oceanarium Tower is a tennis court for guests' enjoyment. Equipment is available for rent from the Front Desk.

More than 25 shops with Hawaiiana, aloha apparel, collectibles, jewelry and gifts can be found adjacent to the Front Desk on the ground floor. Conveniently located in the lobby is a flower shop that features fresh flower leis and beautiful tropical arrangements.
