When staying at the bungalows, the feeling is one of comfort and charm. These were the first accommodations available in Akumal, and have since been remodeled and upgraded, of course, but the charm of the bungalow style hotel room is still there, and few hotels today build their rooms with such spaciousness and as separate units.Many people prefer staying in the bungalows instead of the ocean front rooms! The choice is there though, and we have what you are looking for.

Instead, they build up, and squeeze as many units as possible in as little land. Our Villas Maya Bungalows are situated among the lush gardens of our property, with only 8 bungalows to a quadrangle, or in the adjacent section, the rooms are four to a section.

Surrounded by lush gardens for those that do not like the feel of a high rise hotel, this is the ideal room for you.

The rooms are spacious, and can be rented as single, double, or triple occupancy rooms.

Each bungalow has either one king size bed or two double beds, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, and best of all, no one below you or on top of your room to disrupt your privacy.

Our three-story beachfront building has 21 rooms, all facing the pool and the main bay. All are bright and airy, with a balcony for a better view. 

You can either use the air conditioning to keep you cool, or go natural and let the breeze through (and use the ceiling fans for extra breeze!).
